August has been a tumultuous month. August 15th was
supposed to be the deadline for RRSP and RRIF holders to file their 3520,
3520A returns or deal with the matter under the
auspices of REV.PROC 2003-25.
Any US citizen or US resident with A Canadian
RRSP or RRIF MUST read this notice and the one following. Then
IRS Notice 2003-57 came out extending the
deadline until Oct 15th for everyone who had filed their returns or
extensions on time.
