I am not sure if you will be able to point me in the right direction or not but I am looking for information relating to non-payment of income tax. I live in the UK but the information that I would like to submit concerns somebody who used to live in Augusta, Georgia and now also lives in the UK during both periods there has been no tax paid to either USA or UK tax authorities. I hope you can be of some assistance and look forward to hearing from you in the near future. ---------

This is the kind of thing we look after.
I need to know:
* their citizenship
* the dates they were in
the United States
* what they worked at in
the United States
* What visa they were on
to work/live in the United States
* what they are doing in
the UK
* Their date of birth -
for instance if born before A6,
* if there was any, the
reason that they did not file
* whether the US has ever
asked for a tax return, and if so, when
and, last but not least
* How much they made in
the United States per year
The United States tax return is from January
1 to December 31st.
The UK return runs from April 7 of one year
to April 6th of the next year so the foreign tax
credits and other amounts become a little
complicated because you have to prorate items by the number of days.
Another problem is that a UK self assessing
return is supposed to be filed by January 31 of the year.
The tax was due on July 31st and January
31st.
However, we have the resources to help you.
I am curious as to how you happened to
contact this office.
