Part II (CEN-TAPEDE] Looking to share expenses between

Alan brings up a warning which is very real. Over the years i have had at
least a dozen clients who have lost their cars at the border because of
their passenger. However, no one has told me of it happening since Sept 11,
2001. In fact, I have had minimal horror stories since 9/11. I think it is
because we all got more careful.

Be careful who you ride share across the border with if it's your vehicle.
I used to operate a business matching drivers and riders. I discovered that
for cross-border trips if a passenger that you're carrying is found with
drugs (as one for instance) your vehicle can be impounded (and even
disassembled) at the border, with no compensation to you. This is true, even
when you have zero involvement in your passenger's activities whatsoever.
