DOES US NATIVE AMERICAN HAVE RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN CANADA?

QUESTION: I am an Alaskan Native Indian. My question is, does my status as a
Native American give me any rights to live/work in Canada?

david ingram replies

I wish that I could say yes but the answer is no!

The Jay Treaty of 1794 gives a Canadian First Nations person the right to
live and work in the US (if they can prove 50% or more Native blood) but the
Canadian Government does not recognize the treaty.
