Are life and disabillity insurance premiums deductible

Hi Ingram,
I have a question regarding if my life and disability insurance for my
rental properties would be tax deductibility?
It was great meeting you at Ozzie Jurrock's REAG Meeting.
Have a great weekend.

In general, these types of personal insurance are NOT
deductible. However, if the mortgage company insisted on the insurance
coverage BEFORE the company would give you a mortgage and is a condition of
the loan, then the expense IS a deduction.
