QUESTION:
I am a 21 year old Marketing Undergraduate student at the Univesity of
Guelph in Ontario, Canada. I have 3 semesters remaining. My father has
lived in Florida for years and has his own green card. I would like to move
there around 2005. What is the best way to go about applying for a work
visa so that I can still use my degree there? Should I start now? Any help
greatly appreciated.

I attended what is now the university of Gueph back in 1960 in the Onterio Veterinary College class, OVC65.
But that was another life.
If your father were to get his citizenship and sponsor you for your own green card, would put you in the best position to work in the US.
Next to that, when you have your degree, you will qualify for any US marketing job under an H1B visa which will take from 2 to 3 months after application.
You are in good shape either way you look at it but dad's spomsoring you is the best for you over-all.
