QUESTION:
Hi,
I am an Indian National, with UK permanant resident (living and working in London for four years now). I hold a multi-entry TRV for Canada. I am an associate director of a UK based IT/Business Consultancy and I was wondering if I can apply for Canadian PR on the basis of myself being the sole representative of my company in Canada. If yes, then what are the requirements? Please advise.

First, you should get tyour citizenship in Great Britain. Then have your company open a bvranch in Canada and transfer you there. After on eyear working here, it is easy to get your status.
Failing that, you can just apply and you could start the process now while getting your GB status.
Canada has a point system which awards points for education, language skills and a young age. You need 67 points to qualify. Today, I had a US citizen and his US wife do the self-assessing questionnaire. He is 58, has a PHd and a world wide reputation and speaks two languages fluently. She has no degree but runs a successful US business with a $200,000 US profit per year. She also speaks two languages. Unfortunately, neither speaks French so they only got 65 points.
However, if he takes a job in Canada for one year under NAFTA, he will get 10 points more and qualify. You do not qualify under NAFTA but should qualify as a transfered person.
If you do qualify on your own by filling out the self assessing questionnaire at :

you will have to go the transfer route. If you do qualify and start the application process, you can get your UK citizenship while witing the 22 to 26 months it will take to go through.
