Tax implications of getting paid from US Corp - ask

QUESTION:
Hi. I would like to know what the tax implications are, both Canadian and US
side. There are numerous PTR (paid to read) websites, that pay out large
sums. For example if I were to enrol in one of these and it paid out say
$100,000.00, can you tell me what the tax implications would be? I dont not
believe they will issue any type of income tax receipt either, will this
also be an issue? Also, what would be the amount of tax I would need to pay,
approx. Many thanks for your help!

david ingram replies:
If you are paying "anything" to join this, don't - they are scams like
stuffing envelopes.
If you live e in Canada and were performing the services in Canada and were
paid from the US for services performed in Canada, there would be no US tax
and your tax would be between $29,000 and $33,000 Tax to Canada depending
upon the province you live in.
