Some receivers of this will wonder why they are getting this particular message. They have found themselves on this Q & A tax and immigration newsletter because they asked a question by email and were added automatically.
The majority of the people will be receiving this because they are clients of the CEN-TA Group and it is to them that I address this.
The recent marital split between Jose and myself has made my working in the office with her untenable to say the least. Although I have been working five and six days a week in the office to her two and although I also spend another two or three hours a day answering emailed questions from my house, Jose has chosen to arbitrarily cancel credit cards I was using and issue me an eviction for the house that I live in which is registered in her name.
As a consequence, I have decided to work from my home for the time being. I will be moving my Real Estate Licence to CARE Realty in North Vancouver and I will have another office at the CARTIER PARTNERS OFFICE at 1764 West 7th in Vancouver as of November 1rst. I also have locatd offices for 2004 in Delta, Surrey and Abbotsford. In 2004, I expect to have 4 US/Canada income tax specialist offices operating.
Existing clients of the CEN-TA Group will still be looked after by the remaining Staff and Associates. Gail Ritter, Sonja Clark, George Hatton, and D'Arcy von Schleintiz will all be remaining to look after anything that is currently in progress.
I have removed several client files where I believe the client will prefer to follow me down the road. For the most part, these clients live in another country and courier their work to me. A change of office location will be of no consequence.
For the remaining days of October, I will continue to drop into the office on a daily basis to see if there is any help, any direction or any continuity needed with existing clients.
After that, I will be available by phone.
There will be some confusion as the Web site moves to www.david-ingram.com and fax and phone numbers are confused for a while but I assure any client that I will be co-operating with my old associates and we will all continue to bounce ideas off of each other I am sure.
For instance, most old newsletters still have the North Vancouver address and the phone number below on them anyway.
I wish my "soon to be ex wife" Jose all the luck in the world in her future endeavours. In the meantime, I am going to spend even more time at home with the kids and relax a bit.
