Hi,
Just found your website and as I was reading it found out that we need to file a 3520A for our RRSPs. We're Cdn citizens, working in the US for the past 5 years under an HIB. We've filed our US tax forms without declaring the RRSPs. We want to be in compliance. What are our options at this time?
Thanks,
JXXXX

this is a good question for Sunday Morning.
Answers to this and other similar questions can be obtained free on Air every Sunday morning.
Starting this Sunday at 9 AM on 600AM in Vancouver, Fred Snyder of Cartier Partners and I will be hosting an INFOMERCIAL but LIVE talk show called "IT'S YOUR MONEY"
Those outside of the Lower Mainland will be able to listen on the internet at
www.600AM.com
----------------------------------
In the meantime, Go to www.centa.com - click on [newsletters] click on [2003] click on [August]
All the necessary information to fix up 2002 is there. If you would like us to do it for you, we need the Dec 31, 2001 and Dec 31 2002 year end statements for all your RRSP accounts. We also need a copy of the 1040 filed. we charge $300 Cdn for the first RRSP and $100 CDN for each additional.
There will be a new form for the 2003 tax year but I have not seen it yet if it is out.
Hope this helps.

I have not answered your question at this time as there are just too many. I have over 300 here and can not possibly get at them all.
However, your name has been added to our email list because of your enquiry.
We may not answer your question but
another similar question will be as we answer others as they come in.
It is coming up to tax time and I will not have time to answer anything on a free basis after Feb 1.
We will be installing a PAYPAL method of paying for a question at that time.
You may find more answers at www.centa.com
