My name is XXXXXXXX XXXXXXX, and I read your article in the "Western Investor" paper. After reading your article, I figured I need a lawyer instead of a trustee to help me with my tax problems, someone who can give me advice on filing bankruptcy and the right way to go about it. My question for you is: do you have a good lawyer in mind that I can go possibly go to? Do you have any suggestions on who I can ask for help? Whatever you do, do NOT go near Deloitte and Touche. In my opinion, their handling of my bankruptcy was totally incompetent.
It started with their high-powered Jervais Rodrigues asking me "Aren't you ashamed to be here?" and went downhill from there.
It proceeded to his writing a report that mised an $80,000 mortgage on my wife's house and was compounded by his telling me that my wife had no claim to a house she had made every payment on for 17 years. Then he inappropriately seized the house (not necessary because it was not going anywhere and had $5,000,000 worth of liens on a $500,000 house) and it caused my wife to have to pay property purchase tax to get it back. In fact, his (in my opinion) avaricious and inappropriate actions cost my wife some $15,000 in legal fees to enforce her property rights.
Murray Morrison became my knight in shining armour against the predations of Mr Rodrigues.
