FW: T2200 - T777 - what forms do I need to fill out to

This was a phone call I reproduced as a written question.
I have just left my Canadian employer of 4 years and I need to
file my last four years of returns and claim my car expenses.
What forms do I need.
=========================
david ingram replies:
First of all, you need a T2200 filled in by your employer. You
can print out the "fillable" form following and get the company
to sign it. Note that the form says you do NOT need to send it
in. Don't believe it. Send it with the tax return or be
prepared to get a letter in October or November asking for it.
FAR EASIER to send it in with the return and keep a copy just in
case.

Next is the T777 which is where you claim your office in the home
and car expenses. The office in the home part is unusual for
most people. the T777 is NOT a fillable form so you have to
print it out and fill in by hand.

You can find all other Canadian Government forms at:

Hope this helps.
We would likely charge you about $225.00 a year to do those
returns. If money is tight, we would even take payments.
