2. My company paid for my moving expense (temp housing - 2 monhts) which is
became part of my gross income, can I deduct this expenses?
3. My main residence remains in Vancouver, can I deduct mortgage interest of
my Vancouver property to the my taxable income in US.
4. What is your normal rate for preparing both tax return?
Thank you for your time and help. I look forward to discuss this matter with
you or your associate.
sincerely,

david ingram replies:
1.	The answer is yes. You will get a tax credit on your Canadian return for
the tax paid to the USA.
2.	Although the US will allow the moving expense, Canada does not normally
allow moving expenses out of or into the country although if you are
intending to report the income in Canada, we should do it and claim it and
be prepared to contest it.
3.	You can deduct the mortgage interest and taxes paid in Canada on the US
return but it does not do you any good if you are paying your final taxes to
Canada.
We would normally charge between $750 and $1,500 for this type of return.
But, where is your family? Are they in Vancouver and you are commuting? Do
you intend to get a green card and move permanently to the US?
