QUESTION:
I live in the US but I worked in Toronto from 4/1/04 through 3/31/05. I
travelled to Toronto Monday - Friday. I paid CDN taxes on my Toronto
income.
I am a bit confused about how I report my CDN income and CDN tax credit on
the taxes that I padi on this income.
Can you help?

you need to file a Canadian return first and after determining the foreign
tax credit for the tax paid to Canada, you will report the same income on
your US 1040 and claim the foreign tax credit for the CPP, EI and income tax
you paid to Canada on US form 1116 of your US return.
